Say No to Court Gate:
The 100+ urban development threatening to bulldoze our borders 🚧
Welcome to Save Marsh Countryside, a site dedicated to stopping developers acquire and build on our green spaces.
We’re on a mission to preserve the charming, traditional character of our small, respectable village. To achieve this, we must object to the development of Court Gate, the 100+ urban development proposed by Catesby Estates.
Read more about Court Gate here.
Court Gate will add unnecessary stress, noise, traffic and pollution to our village and amenities. No one wants this.
Our community is built on kindness and respect. We strongly encourage everyone from Marsh Gibbon and the surrounding villages to stand together and fight this, with our individual concerns and collective voice.
Leave urban dwellings to towns and cities. Think of the bigger picture of our small village, its environment and residents.
As it evolves, this site will feature updates and news of prospective new developments, and discuss the challenges and processes involved - those that we approve of, and those that we strongly disapprove of.
But firstly, we must tackle Court Gate and shut down the proposals.
Together, we can stop this.
Our strongest hope is to email objections directly to the developer: info@catesbyestates.co.uk before the deadline - the 23rd of June.
Why We’re Objecting 🦢
The Disruption to Local Life & Landscape
Marsh Gibbon is a village with a rich cultural and rural heritage, dating back to the 13th century. We are small and community-focused, with under 1,000 residents.
We wish to retain our character and quiet, relaxing countryside feel. And preserve our green spaces for wildlife, environment and so that future generations can enjoy our unspoilt beauty.
There are areas more suited to this type of urban development. Marsh Gibbon as a whole, stands firmly against it.
Do you agree with us?
Help us stop the development going ahead.
Email your comments stating why you disapprove of Court Gate to info@catesbyestates.co.uk by the deadline - the 23rd of June.
The Fate of Court Gate:
More noise
More traffic
More pollution
Endless construction
Issues with flooding
Issues with infrastructure
Loss of identity
Loss of environment
Loss of rural charm

Objecting is a process, starting by emailing your comments directly to the developer - info@catesbyestates.co.uk. Beyond this, we will need volunteers to draft letters, post flyers and gain media attention. If you’d like to volunteer and join our worthy cause, sign up below:
